From "The Hamilton County Register", Aurora, Nebraska dated Friday, May 8, 1925, Page 9: Obituary Robert Lyle Cameron, the little baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. George Cameron was born Sept. 19, 1924, called from this life on the morning of May 2, 1925, just a short stay of seven months and thirteen days. How brief the stay, as beautiful as fleeting. Little Bobby tarried for but one brief while yet he brought to our hearts a beautiful message of love and purity borne from the throne of God. This fair little baby boy touched the heartstrings of all who knew him. He suffered so much – oh how he suffered but those days of suffering are o'er and we are a bit more grateful to Jesus Christ the Son of God for preparing a better place than this to which he has taken Bobby. For well we know this precious gem has gone to deck the Saviors sparkling diadem. Robert Lyle leaves next to father and mother, one sister Cometa and two brothers Orval and little Joseph, besides many relatives and friends. We do not feel that we have lost our little one – no, with this fair soul it is well. So we walk out in the sunlight of God, trusting in the only begotten Son of God that in his own precious blood which he spilled on Calvary we shall see him again. Bobby has gone on before but we are coming too – thank God. "Sleep on little one and take thy rest. Lay down the head upon the Savior's breast, We loved thee well but Jesus loved thee best Good night, good night, good night." Services were held from the home at 2:00 o'clock with Rev. Mulvaney of Aurora and Rev. Powell of Stockham in charge of the services. The quartet consisting of Mrs. Witte, Mrs. Maupin, Mr. Piggott and Mr. Willcock singing several beautiful and touching selections. Pallbearers were Gerald Harter, Norval Knoble, Albert Willcock and Edwin Druba. Flower girls were Helen Wallace, Anna Carnes, Viola Risden and Bessie Beat. Interment was made in the Stockham cemetery. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of their many friends.
