Pauline Zalkovsky, 92, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015, in Tyler, Texas. Rosary will be recited at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in the St. Joseph's Cemetery with Father Henry Drozd officiating. Pauline Albina was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late John W. and Carrie (Holy) Jaresh. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1940. On January 7, 1942, she married Louis A. Zalkovsky. They made their home in Dallas until retirement when they moved to Waxahachie. She moved to Tyler, Texas, in 2004. Pauline worked for Eastman Kodak as a customer service representative until her retirement in 1973. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie. She was also a member of KJZT. She was preceded in death by her husband for over fifty-eight years, Louis A. Zalkovsky. Survivors include her son, William L. “Bill” Zalkovsky and his wife, Jan, of Waxahachie; daughters, Marilyn Walker and her husband, William “Billy”, of Tyler, and Kathy Pettipas and her husband, Art, of McKinney; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Gerry Holubar, Carolyn Hejny, and Lorrine Beere.
