Bio
William Louis Zalkovsky, 68, of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016, at his home. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., with a Rosary at 5 p.m., Sunday, September 4, 2016, in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, September 5, 2016, in the Chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Deacon Dennis Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Ennis. William was born in Dallas, Texas, to the late Louis Alfonse and Pauline Albina (Jaresh) Zalkovsky. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. William retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Survivors include his wife, Jan Zalkovsky; son, Aaron Zalkovsky and Lauren; daughters, Janelle Zalkovsky and Ashleigh Curry; grandsons: Ethan, Jackson and Austin; granddaughters, Tiffany and Destiny; sisters, Kathryn Pettipas and husband, Art, and Marilyn Walker and husband, Billy; and several nieces and nephews.
