Mary Lou Chabot, 78, of North Smithfield, passed away June 30, 2015 at home, surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of 58 years to Joseph Chabot. Born in Columbus, NE, she was a daughter of the late Ray & Mabel (Vincent) Drummond.Mary worked for the Zambarano Hospital in Pascoag. She was a resident of North Smithfield, formerly living in Burrillville.Besides her husband, she is survived by sons, Kenneth of Woonsocket and Joseph Chabot, Jr. of Johnston; grandchildren, Eugene of North Kingstown and Kimberly Chabot of North Smithfield; great grandchildren, Krystian, Thomas and Stephen. Mary has brothers, Ray Donald, Ernie, George, and Fred Drummond, and Gary Hiermeier all of Nebraska; sisters, Luella Farnum of NY, and Marcella Kuhn and Shirley Phillips of NE.Calling hours will be held Friday, July 10th from 5 until 8pm in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Services and burial in Slatersville Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
