Bio

John Berry married Georgia Beach on 19 May 1907. She preceded him in death. Services for John C. Berry were held at the Draw Methodist Church. Mr. Berry moved to Lubbock in 1954. He died at West Texas Hospital in Lubbock on 11 October 1961. A native of Henrietta, he worked for Lynn County for 18 years. He was a retired farmer and rancher. Mr. Berry moved to Tahoka in 1906 from Oklahoma. He farmed in the Draw Community. Surviving are one daughter - Mrs. Ivy Eldridge, with home Mr. Berry lived; one sister - Mrs. Leona Simpson; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
