see evalines bio for the story I Carl gooden ggreatgrandson of you ,have always wish I knew why John W gooden your grandson was not told who his mother and father was. Yes some people claimed he was Josephine s son and some people say he was Scott's son because when Catherine and her husband came back home to sale creek tn after you and granny passed away and left Robert in Alabama where in a few short years he also passed away in Clay co ala,then in 1900 your husband died and is buried in welsh cem in sale creek tn then you married a Goodson and I think that made you into a state of confusion ,,it has been said that you always talked about John Wasley a lot and your stepsons took him to be your father ,then when you passed away a stepson did your obit and death cert and listed John Wesley Gooden as her father.it has taken me years of searching and talking to people who lived and had records and knew about this, I wish to thank the Stultz family esp Joalice for all she knew and last but no least the Hawkins,,,Hodge family that kept you till you died ,in writing this I have no intention of hurting any one,just hope it helps her death cert states that she had lost her memory years ago . PS She must have grieved over her son John wesley for years . Now I know God has reunited . I feel that I have done my best to clear up this mess
