` Joseph Nathaniel "Joe" Felts was born on September 22, 1865 in Tennessee, the son of Wesley J Felts and Martha (Harris) Felts. He was married on December 11, 1887 in Cheatham County to Mary Elizabeth Edwards (1865-1950). A house carpenter living at 1817 14th Avenue North, Nashville, Joe was 87 years old and a widower when he died at home of a cerebral hemorrhage on November 25, 1952. Burial was two days later in Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison [city, not county]. Most of the above is from his Death Certificate, with Mrs Clara Smith of 1821 14th Avenue North as the informant.
