Bio

` Herman Edwards Felts was born on November 8, 1907 in Cheatham County, Tennessee, the son of Joseph N Felts and Mary (Edwards) Felts Joseph Nathaniel "Joe" Felts (1865-1952) and Mary Elizabeth (Edwards) Felts (1865-1950). He was married to Dorothy Mae Potter (ca 1910- ), and she was the daughter of Thomas J Potter (ca 1878- ) and Sammy ( -- ) Potter (ca 1884- ). A butcher living at 1009 Monroe Street, Nashville, Herman was 32 years old and married when he died of general paralysis on September 7, 1940 at Nashville's Central State Hospital where he had been for three months. Burial was two days later in Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville. Most of the above is from his Death Certificate.
