JOANN WASKO FUNERAL MONDAY The funeral of Joann F. Wasko, 53, was held November 17 from Sts. Cyril and Methodist Catholic Church in Clarkson. Burial was in the parish cemetery. The Rev. L. S. Astuto officiated Mrs. Wasko died last Thursday afternoon in Schuyler where she had been hospitalized for one month. The daughter of Frank and Milada Karel Vidlak, JoAnn was born in Adams, Nebraska near Lincoln on March 9, 1927. Before she was old enough to go to school, the Vidlak family moved to Clarkson where she attended Clarkson Public Schools, graduating from Clarkson High School. She was married to Bill Wasko in Sts. Cyril and Methodist Catholic Church on December 28, 1950. For the past 10 years, she worked at the Bank of Clarkson. She was a member of the parish's altar society as well as the church. She is survived by her husband, Bill, two sons, Clem of Omaha, Todd of Clarkson, one daughter. Mrs. Kenneth (Becky) Pribil of Omaha, one brother, Col. Frank Vidlak of Newport News, Virginia, three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers were Slavomir Vodehnal, Steve Pribnow, Tom Schulze.
