Bio
Alice L. Hall, 79, of the Western Home Communities, died Saturday, Sept. 12, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital, Waterloo. She was born June 11, 1936, in Cherokee, daughter of Charles R. and Mary Pitts Leonard. She married Burdett N. Hall on April 28, 1962, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Waterloo; he died in 1991. Alice was a pioneer with the phone company for more than 30 years. Preceded in death by: a daughter, Tara Meier; and a brother, William Leonard. Memorial services: 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Cedar Falls, with inurnment in St. Mary Cemetery, Vinton.
