The Webster Signal Minden, La Jan. 20, 1927 The Woman's Page Deepest sympathy is extended Mr. and Mrs. Carter Frazier in the death of their beloved father, Thomas B. Frazier of Nederland, Texas, who formerly lived in Minden. He had been ill for many months, and while the end was felt to be near, his death came as a sad blow to the loving members of the family, who gathered at his bedside. Until recently he resided in Minden where he had hosts of friends having lived here fourteen years, but for the past few years had resided with his eldest daughter, Mrs. Patrick L. Hackworth. His death occurred on Saturday morning at 7:30 and accompanied by the bereaved family his remains were brought to Minden for burial and laid away in the family lot. The Reverend L.I. McCain, pastor of the First Methodist Church, gave the final rites in the presence of a large number of friends who were present for the funeral. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. P.D. Hackworth (Ruby Frazier) of Nederland, Texas, Mrs. R.B. Holoman (Fannie Frazier) of 321o Exposition Ave., Shreveport, Mrs. S.A. Cockran (Eudelle Frazier) of Wichita Falls, Texas, and three sons, Carter R. Frazier of Minden, C.L. Frazier of Dallas, and G.E. Frazier of McCarey, Texas. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Webster Signal Minden, La Jan. 27, 1927 OBITUARY THOMAS BACON FRAZIER Thos. Bacon Frazier, aged sixty seven years, died Saturday, Jan. 15th, at 7:30 p.m., at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Pat Hackworth in Nederland, Texas, following a long illness. Mr. Frazier was born in Minden at the old Aleck Harrell home which was built by his father and where he lived until he was eleven years of age. At that time he moved with his parents to a farm near Arcadia, remaining there until in 19o4, when the family moved back to Minden. For a number of years, the deceased resided on his farm a few miles from the city on the Dixie Highway, later moving to Shreveport When his health (next couple lines illegible) ...and was with his daughter, Mrs. Hackworth following an operation in a Dallas sanitarium in August. For fifty years, Mr. Frazier was connected with the Methodist church and a regular and faithful member. Funeral services were held in the church, where he so frequently attended and were conducted by the pastor, the Rev. L.I. McCain, Sunday afternoon at 3:3o. Interment followed in the city cemetery, where many friends assembled to pay respect to his memory. Mr. Frazier is survived by two brothers, Charlie and James Frazier, living at Athens, and Gibsland, respectively; two sister, Mrs. Rawls, British Columbia and one living in Monroe. Three sons, Carlton Frazier, of Minden; Grady Frazier, McCamey, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Sid Cochran, Witchita Falls, Texas; Mrs. R.B. Holloman, Shreveport; Mrs. Pat Hackworth, Nederland, Texas. Those attending the funeral of Mr. Thos. Bacon Frazier were the following sons and daughters of the deceased; Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Hackworth of Nederland, Tex, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Frazier of McCamey, Texas, C.L. Frazier, Dallas, Texas, Carlton Frazier, of Minden; Mr. and Mrs. R.B.
