Survived by wife of 50 years: Mildred Ruiz; daughter & son-in-law: Brenda & Lee Arabie; son: Salvador L. Ruiz, Jr. and adopted son: Jeremy Potter; 2 grandchildren: Angeline Thibault & husband Graham and Nicholas Allemand; 3 great-grandchildren: Abigail, Gabriel & Alexandra; 3 sisters: Lydia, Carolyn & Gracie; 4 brothers: his twin, David Ruiz, Charlie, Philip, and Manuel Ruiz. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 2006 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson, Dallas, 75228, Rev. Arturo Kannee, Celebrant.
