Mildred Lorene Ruiz was born July 20, 1931 in Bonham, TX and passed away August 14, 2012 in Mesquite, TX. She was preceded are death by her husband of 50 years, Salvador Lara Ruiz; her parents Roy and Vera Nichols Dewoody; and her sister Margaret Smith. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Brenda Ruiz Arabie and husband Lee, Judy Leon and husband Jerry, and Deborah Kay McCabe and husband Jack; son Salvador Lara Ruiz Jr.; Granddaughter Angeline Thibault and husband Graham; Grandsons Nicholas Allemand and husband Michael, John William Weeks Robinson and Wife Galia; Great Grandchildren Abigail Kolb, Gabriel Thibault, and Alexandra Thibault; Sister Jean Whitehead and husband Ronald; Brother Billy Dewoody and wife Barbara; Adopted son Jeremy Potter;and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary will be 7:00 PM, Friday, August 17, 2012 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Service will be held at 12:30 PM, Saturday, August 18 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
