Myrtle I. Stevenson, 86, Conneaut, Ohio, formerly of Lawernceville, died about 6 a.m. today in Ashtabula, Ohio. Born August 10, 1905, in Gibson County, Ind., she was the daughter of Charles and Irmina Geisher Houchin. A homemaker, she was married to Burl E. Stevenson and he preceded her in death in 1986. Two brothers, a son, and two grandchildren preceded her in death also. Survivors include four sons, Leroy Stevenson, Cottonwood, Ariz., Burl E. Stevenson, Jr., Conneaut; Robert Stevenson, Wildomar, Calif., Douglas Stevenson, Indianapolis; two daughters, Betty Gallagher, Granbury, Texas, Jean Monjar, Bridgeport; a sister, Pearl Smitha, Evansville, Ind.; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending at Emmons-Macey Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. *********************** The funeral for Myrtle Stevenson is 2 p.m. Saturday at Emmons-Macey Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, with the Rev. Philip Richardson officiating Interment will follow in Lawrenceville Cemetery. Friends may call 1 p.m. Saturday until the hour of service.
