Bio

Eleanor was born in Denver, Denver Co., Colorado to Eleanor Frances Whiteley and Frank Foster. In her youth she enjoyed playing the piano and tennis. She joined the Order of the Eastern Star as an adult and was a lifelong active member, including serving as Worthy Matron. Eleanor worked many years as a secretary for the Remington Arms Co., Richland School District, Kaiser Engineers, and retired from IBM. She was a member of Central United Protestant Church in Richland. Her husband, Horace Glenn ("Johnnie") Upchurch, predeceased her. Her son and daughter survive, as well as many grandchildren, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.
