Nannie Blanche Anderson was born on February 2, 1919, to parents Chambers "Bruce" and Georgia Milton Anderson. She was raised in Point, TX where she attended school and enjoyed playing basketball. After school she married Statuel Lee Harris December 11, 1937. They moved to Dallas in 1942, where they raised seven children. Nannie was a stay at home mother where she provided loving care for her children, grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She enjoyed gardening, board games, making fudge and especially time with her grandchildren teaching them how to shoot guns, fish and play cards. Nannie was a member of the Gospel Light House Church in Dallas, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three infant daughters, three grandchildren, along with two sisters and seven brothers. Nannie is survived by son, Joe Harris(Alice), Severna Park, MD; daughters, Frances Jones, Broken Arrow, OK, Anna Campbell, Grand Prairie, TX, Dorothy Dirnberger, New Hamburg, MO, Donna Howard, Scroggins, TX, Mary Higdon (Marc), Harrison, AR, and Martha (David), Wills Point, TX; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and her extended family at the Golden Acres nursing home.
