Bio

Son of Bernard L. & Angeline (Mendyk) Czaplewski. WW II Veteran - US Marine Corps - 1943/1945 - Awarded Purple Heart Medal for wounds. Married to Loreen Zulkoski on 10-7-1947 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Scotia, NE. He was a 25-year member of the Loup City Volunteer Fire Department and also served as an EMT for 12 years. He was on the West Side Park Board for 10 years and served two terms as its president. He was on the Rose Lane Board for three years. He was Loup City building inspector for several years.
