Press-Register (Mobile, AL) July 20, 2006 Section Z Page 9 ELBERTA Ruby Merchant Ruby Merchant, 91, died Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at her home. She was a native of Foley and a resident of Elberta. Survivors include seven sons, Darrell Merchant of Elsanor, Sanger Merchant of Lillian, and Wayne Merchant, Gary Merchant, Dennis Merchant, Terry Merchant and Tommy Merchant, all of Elberta; a sister, Eva Bailey; 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Burial will follow in Wynn Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley.
