Bio

Daughter of Charles Amsberry of Knoxville, Marion County, Iowa and Almyral Ersula Amsberry of Mason County, West Virginia. Wife of Frank Elwyn Armstrong of Fort Dodge, Webster County, Iowa; married on 13 November 1907. "Services were held Tuesday for Mamie Mae Armstrong, 79, of Broken Bow, at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Richard C. Gayley officiating. Mrs. Armstrong died July 19 in a Broken Bow hospital. Interment was in the Ansley Cemetery with the Govier Brothers Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Surviving are two sons, Clifford and Clayton of Broken Bow; two daughters, Mrs. Dolores Arnold of Superior, Wisconsin and Mrs. June Tolen of Broken Bow; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Johnson of Lincoln and Mrs. Ruby Russom of Superior, Wisconsin; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorials should be sent to the Presbyterian Church in care of Rev. Gayley of Broken Bow."
