Mrs. Geyer was born November 23, 1881 and on January 7, 1903 was happily married to Mr. Edmund Geyer in St. Louis Church at Castroville, She and her husband made their home at Idlewild in Bexar County for some years and in 1912 they moved to their farm near Goldfinch in Frio County, where they resided ever since. In November 1943, Mrs. Geyer took sick and in spite of all that medical care and loving hands could do, she gradually grew weaker and weaker. Prior to her death she was moved to the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Mann near Devine, where she died Saturday evening, August 19th at 6:00 o'clock surrounded by loved ones. The funeral was held from the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Peterson at Pearsall at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, August 21st. After services in St. Mary's Church, she was tenderly laid to rest in the new Cemetery with Rev. Louis Scognelli, assistant pastor of the parish performing the last sad rites of the church of which the departed had been a life-long and faithful member. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Pearsall Funeral Home. Her burial was the first to be made in the new cemetery. Besides her grief stricken husband, Edmund Geyer, this good wife and dear and loving mother leaves surviving; seven daughters; Mrs. Jake Mann of Pearsall; Mrs. Otto Mann, Devine; Mrs. Leo Mann, San Antonio; Mrs. George Peterson, Pearsall; Mrs. Stanley Brouckley (sic), Miguel; Mrs. Wesley Stacy, Goldfinch; Mrs. A.
