"OBITUARIES EDMUND F. GEYER, JR. Edmund Ferdinand Geyer, Jr. age 54, died Thursday January 8, 1976 at Nix Hospital in San Antonio. Funeral services were Saturday, January 10, at 4:00 p.m. in Jackson Funeral Chapel in Pearsall with Rev. Kenneth Brooks, officiating; he was assisted by Rev. Jessie Van Winkle. Interment followed in the Moore Cemetery. Edmund was the son of the late Edmund F. Geyer Sr. and Elizabeth Stein Geyer. Born, Feb. 1, 1921 in Goldfinch, Frio County, Texas. He is survived by his widow, Helen M. Geyer of Moore; three sons, Leonard Ivan, Donald Lewis and Edmund Ferdinand III (Eddie) of Moore; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Lucille Grammer of Greenville, Texas and Miss Mary Alice Geyer of Orangevale, Calif., and four grandchildren. One brother, John L. Geyer of Harrison, Arkansas; and seven sisters, Katie Mann, Mary Mann, Alma Brauchle of Charlotte and Elizabeth Mann, Pauline Stacy and Iola Willms of Big Foot and Julia Peterson of Plainview. Edmund served in the United States Army during World War II as Technician Third Grade. Company "A", 135th Armored Ordance Maintenance Battalion. He served in the United States and European Theatre. Mr. Geyer has farmed and ranched in Frio County. In 1955 he and his family moved to Moore and in 1957 he was employed at Frio Tex Oil and Gas Corp., which later became Suburban Propane Gas Corp. At the time of his death, he was superintendent of South Texas Suburban Propane Gas Corp. Pallbearers were his nephews, Jake Mann, Frank Geyer, Clifton Stacy, Otto Mann Jr., Johnny Willms, Charles Alley, Marlin Brauchle and Eldon Brauchle."
