Bio

He was described in his 1918 draft registration card as being short and of medium build, with blue eyes and light colored hair. He was reported in the 1900 and 1920 censuses, living with his parents on a farm in eastern Travis County, Texas. He was married to Ophelia Klaus at the time of the birth of their daughter, Alice Faye, on September 19, 1932. The 1940 census reported as divorced, working as a farmeer, and living with his 7 year old daughter Alice Fay in along Highway 20 in eastern Travis County, Texas. He was living in eastern Travis County, Texas, near Elgin, Texas, at the time of his death.
