Bio
Born in the village of Cerniny, southeast of Prague in the Central Bohemian region. At the time it was part of the Austrian empire. Immigrated in 1869 (1920 census) or 1880 (1900 census). Naturalized in 1890. Native tongue Bohemian (Czech). (1920 census) Married to Josef for 19 years at time of 1900 census. The 1900 census reports Anna and family living in the Manda community of eastern Travis County, Texas. Children reported are Annie, Albina, J. Josef, and Johnnie. 1920 census reports the family living in rural Travis County, Texas. 22 year old son Johnnie remains in the home.
