Mary C. Bowers, 50, of Gettysburg, died Monday morning, Aug. 13, 1984, at Gettysburg Hospital. Born in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late Seymore J. and Kathleen Kuykendall Bobo. She was a member of the Fairfield AMVETS auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. Surviving are two sons, Donald L. Bowers, Gettysburg; and Charles E. Bowers. Lyons. Ga.; one daughter, Tammy L. Bowers, Gettysburg; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Bowers Bobo, Gettysburg; and Seymore Bobo, Gettysburg; four sisters, Shirley Brent, Orrtanna; Rosalie Vanderau, Gettysburg; Charity Harbaugh, Fairfield; and Amanda Neidores, Zullinger; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Monahan Funra Funeral Home, Gettysburg, the Rev. Joseph C. Fissel officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
