Obit from 1955 FRANK HOUSTON Burial services for Frank Owen Houston of Kansas City, Missouri, were held in De Soto on Friday afternoon. The deceased spent his early life on what is now known as the Fred Maack Farm. His father, Joseph Houston planted the long row of cedar trees that are always noted at a distance by strangers passing through. His mother was Christine Freeburg and Mr. Houston was a cousin of Mrs. Floss Freeburg Gilmore known to many here. Mr. Houston in early life was united in marriage to Miss Anna Marie Fitzgibbon and the home was established in Kansas City, Kansas. One son, Joseph Bernard Houston was born to them. His wife passed away several years ago. Mr. Houston was a retired claim agent for the Western Weighing Inspection Bureau. He is survived by his son, Joseph Bernard Houston, two grandchildren, four brothers and one sister. He was 73 years of age.
