***************************************** DOROTHY B. NOVOTNY, 83 of Fremont, Died Monday, February 25, 2008 at her home in Fremont. Private Funeral will be 10:00 Am Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Chaplain Scott Jensen of FAMC will officiate. Dorothy was born May 2, 1924 to William & Barbra (Kosmara) Ptacnik at Ord, NE. Dorothy was a cook at Arbor Manor Nursing Home in Fremont for about 10 years. She retired in 2005. Dorothy married Ed Novotny Oct. 25, 1972 at Plattsmouth, NE. Survived by: Husband, Ed Novotny of Fremont; 2 sons: Marion & wife Gloria Lipinski of North Platte, NE and James D. & wife Debbie Lipinski of Fremont. Daughter: Dorothy A. Rawlin of Yutan, NE. 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; 2 daughters: Rosemary Malloy & Donna Marie Baker; 1 brother: William Ptacnik.
