Reviewing Probate records, newspaper articles, and other documents verifies that Lon Morton of Monticello, Utah was in fact alias for John C Joy. His burial gravestone indicates Lon Martin, which is likely just a spelling error. John C Joy was a son of James Alexander Joy and Elizabeth Hart Joy Epley.
