Bio
Beth Russon Erickson died September 9, 2006. She was born October 22, 1923 in Garfield to Ira Raymond and Myrtle Devey Russon. When Beth was ten years old, the Russon family moved to Magna, where she attended and graduated from Cyprus High School in 1941. Beth married Fritz Owen Erickson on March 29, 1951. Together, they raised what Beth was fond of calling "two good boys." Beth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She taught Sunday School and Primary for many years. She also was a visiting teacher for many years. She enjoyed her life and all the beauties of nature with her family very much. Survived by her husband, Fritz Owen Erickson; children, John Owen (Alexandra) Erickson and Lynn R. (Lynda) Erickson; sister, Dorothy Marlor; brothers-in-law, Joseph Woolley and Dell Andersen; and three grandchildren, Raylyn (Ian) McNeal, Kelvin, and Peter Erickson. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Cleo Andersen and LaRae Woolley; and brother-in-law, Donald S. Marlor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 in the Magna Central Stake Center, 8181 West 3320 South, where friends may call both Tuesday, September 12, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Wednesday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment: Lehi City Cemetery.
