Henry was a farmer and the 3 eldest sons were farm laborers. 1. Ruby Flakus married Floyd Tobin in 1938 in Burt County, Nebraska. 2. Ruby A. BELL Mass for Ruby A. Bell will be at noon Tuesday in St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. James Catholic Cemetery. Recitation of the rosary was held Monday in Vancouver. Mrs. Bell died Friday of pneumonia in her Vancouver home. She was 73. Mrs. Bell was born in Elyria, Neb., on Dec. 12, 1914, and had lived in Vancouver since 1941. She was a retired secretary for the Gifford Pinchot National Forest headquarters in Vancouver. Mrs. Bell served in the Army during World War II, attaining the rank of corporal. She was a member of the American Legion Smith-Reynolds Post 14 in Vancouver and its auxiliary. She also was a member of St. James Catholic Church and its Altar Society. Surviving are brothers, Robert Flakus of Seattle, Ernest Flakus of Medford, Ore., Clifford Flakus of Winner, S.D., and Ralph Flakus of Omaha, Neb.; sisters, Ethel Roadman and Carolyn Kerr, both of Vancouver, Luella Oesterle of Pasco, Wash., and Victoria Kleinschmit of Coleridge, Neb. Mrs. Bell's husband, Eugene, died in 1968. The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the St. James Catholic Church Altar Society, 218 W. 12th St., Vancouver 98660.
