San Angelo Standard Times San Angelo, Texas · Thursday, June 14, 1984 BRADY — Bertha Hester, 84, from Brady died Tuesday, June 12 at 11:05 p.m. at the Heart of Texas Memorial Hospital in Brady. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Rudel and Sons Memorial Chapel. Reverend Ray Ash will officiate. Burial will follow In the Lohn Cemetery in Lohn, Texas. Mrs. Hester was born September 27, 1897 In Llano. She married Ira Hester on November 18, 1917 in Lohn, Texas. She had been a lifelong resident of McCulloch county. Mrs. Hester was a housewife and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters: Nelda Hodges of Santa Anna, Billie Jean Nicholas of Menard and Margaret Martlnak of Nassau Bay, Texas; four sons: Aaron (Buster) Hester of Austin, Ogden Hester of Corpus Christi, James Hester of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Bernard Hester from Lohn, Texas; one sister Odee Ellis of Dallas; two brothers: Judge Peel of Dallas and Osier Peel of McKinney; 23 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and eight-great-greatgrandchildren.
