Mary Jane Smith, 87, Freeman, Missouri, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri, with visitation from 1:00-2:00. Burial will be in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, Missouri. Mary was born January 12, 1928 in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Lee and Lola Jane (Peters) Metcalf. She grew up in Ava, Missouri, and Boise, Idaho, later moving to Madera, California, before returning to the Peculiar/Freeman, Missouri area in 2009. Mary worked as a home health nurse in Madera, California, for 25 years before retiring at age 81. She moved to Peculiar, Missouri in 2009 and then to the Freeman, Missouri area. She was a member of the Joyful Sound Non-Denominational Church in Peculiar. She was a very loyal, registered voter and never missed an election. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Harland Tribble, Earley Marlow, and Lester Smith. She is survived by four children, Daniel Tribble, Chowchilla, California, James Marlow, Freeman, Missouri, Susan Marlow, Carson City, Nevada and Michael Marlow, Freeman, Missouri; one brother, Robert Metcalf, Portland, Oregon; one sister, Martha Franklin, Madera, California; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren Married 1946 to Harland in Wilder Canyon Co ID Married 02/05/1966 Nevada to Early Divorced 08/1974 to Early Married Lester 12/20/1975 Madera CA to Lester
