Husband of Eliza Puller (WALDEN) FRANKLIN. They married 07 March 1852. Son of John and Mary Ann "Polly" (PEARCY) FRANKLIN. Robert Henry FRANKLIN served during the Civil War as a Private in Co. F, 29th Mississippi Regiment (Capt. James M. Hampton's Co., Mississippi Volunteers). About April 9, 1865, this regiment was consolidated with the 24th, 27th, 30th, and 34th Regiments Mississippi Infantry and formed a new regiment which was designated the 24th Regiment Mississippi Infantry.
