From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram , Tuesday, January 14, 1992: Tommye Burden George, died Saturday at a La Plata, Md., hospital. She was 59. She is survived by her husband, Joseph L. George of Lexington Park, Md. Area survivors are son, T. Keith Anderson; mother, Earlene Burden; brother, Max Burden of Fort Worth; and one grandson. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, 8440 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, 75231. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Greenwood Memorial Park.
