Per a personal history by a grandchild, found in the Ord Library, there were three infants that died, one on Jun 22 1912 - they were: Sylvia, Emma, and Emil ------------------------------------------- Ord Woman Passes In Omaha Hospital Mrs. Marie Janda, wife of Charles Janda, who lives northeast of Ord on the Gregg place, passed away Saturday at the Methodist hospital in Omaha, the direct cause of her death being a brain tumor. The body was shipped to Ord Monday by train and received by Fraziers, who had charge of the funeral. The funeral services were from the Ord ZCBJ hall Monday afternoon, Rev. B. A. Filipi of Clarkson being in charge, and burial was made in the Ord Bohemian cemetery. The Janda family has lived in that neighborhood for the past twenty-five years. Mrs. Janda was born Mary Drudik, at Doinf, Lhota Klatov Pizen, Cechie, Czechoslovakia. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, William and Charles, one daughter, Bessie, and three brothers and one sister, Henry, Emanuel and Frances Drudik, besides many other relatives and friends.
