Bio

David Nelson Grissom, 79, died peacefully Monday, May 11, 2015. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the White Settlement Nursing Center. He will be interred in DFW National Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 21. David loved his family and friends unconditionally, valued friendship and was a lifelong learner. He was a guitar player by day and a stargazer at night. Survivors: Wife, Gladys Grissom; children, Selina, Robert, Kenny, Wayne, Patricia and Davidwayne Grissom; stepdaughters, Ona Winders, Teresa Gosney and Alicia Love; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Iris Resnick and Dorothy Burdine. ~Published in Star-Telegram on May 17, 2015
