Bio

Died, suddenly on the 11th inst. at White Hill near Orangeburgh, Jacob Rumph Jamison, in the 8th year of his age; eldest son of Doctor V.d.V. Jamison. The annuals of death furnish few more awful lessons of of what shadows we are than this. At 5 o'clock he was in the fullness of health with the strongest pledges of its continuance, pursuing the innocent ammusements of his age.
