Father: George Washington Ellington Mother: Mary Frances Burden ==================================== Will A Ellington in the Alabama, Deaths and Burials Index, 1881-1974 Record Image No Image Text-only collection Report issue Name: Will A Ellington Birth Date: abt 1880 Death Date: 1 Apr 1928 Death Place: Lee, Alabama Death Age: 48 Marital Status: Married Gender: Male Father Name: G W Ellington Mother Name: Mary Elizabeth Burden Spouse Name: Mrs Neta Ellington FHL Film Number: 1908453 ∼ See memorial #146490213 which is a duplicate of my memorial, but that marker is in a different cemetery, so not sure in which cemetery William Archbald ELLINGTON is really buried. According to my sources he was buried in Oak Bowery Cemetery but I do not live in AL so can not investigate this more. Any help would be greatly appreciated. An unmarked grave in the ELLINGTON plot at Oak Bowery Cemetery where William's parents are buried is believed to be William Arhibald ELLINGTON but there is NO proof of that, just the dc and obit below. Maybe a maker was placed in Rosemere Cemetery later for him when his wife Anita B STROUD Ellington Hornsby was buried there 40 years later under the ELLINGTON marker there even after she remarried. _______________________ Certificate of Death, State of Alabama, #9381 Full Name: Will A ELLINGTON Birth place: Gold Hill, AL Death date and place: 1 Apr 1928 in Lee Co, AL Age: 48 yrs Occupation: farmer Spouse: Mrs Neta Ellington Father: G.
