Thelma Bernice Christiansen Rasmussen 1919 - 2015 Thelma Bernice Christiansen Rasmussen, 95, was born July 12, 1919, in Pleasant Grove, Utah, in the "Monkey Town" area. She died May 3, 2015, in Highland, Utah. Born to Owen Oliver Christiansen and Ellen Priscilla Stagg Christiansen, she was the third of eight children. She married her high school sweetheart, C. Wesley Rasmussen; they were married for 63 years at his passing. They became parents to six sons and three daughters. She is survived by nine children: Ronald (Kathy) Rasmussen, Alpine, Donna (Dave) Nelson, Mesquite, NV, Dennis (Sandy) Rasmussen, Pleasant Grove, (currently serving a mission in Cebu, Philippines), David (Judy) Rasmussen, Highland, Mary (Nick) Ryan, Jerry (Vicki) Rasmussen, Brigham City, Milt (Cheryl) Rasmussen, Pleasant Grove, Boyd (Jetta Marie) Rasmussen, Highland and Julyn (Ken) Embley, Sandy, Utah. She is survived by brothers, Charles Christiansen, Ogden, and Lyle (Gale) Christiansen, Pleasant Grove. Brother-in-law, Dale Huntsman, Monroe, Sisters-in-law, Betty Christiansen, Pleasant Grove, Ruth Christiansen, Pleasant Grove, Barbara Jex, Payson, Carol Rasmussen, West Valley. Preceded in death by parents, husband, sisters: Reva Warburton Frampton, Pleasant Grove, Karma Huntsman, Monroe; brothers: Marlin Christiansen, Lehi, Cloyd Christiansen, Pleasant Grove, Kay Christiansen, Orem. She is also survived by 50 grandchildren, 157 great-grandchildren and 12 plus great-great-grandchildren.
