Lehi Free Press, Lehi, UT, Thursday, Jul 9, 1953, pg 1: "Lott Kirkham, Lehi Native, Dies in Idaho --- Lott Kirkham, 68, Lehi native, died Friday, July 3, in an Idaho Falls, Idaho, hospital of a heart ailment. His home was in Shelley, Idaho. He holds a record of employment for the Utah-Idaho Sugar Company for 45 years. He retired four years ago. "He was born in Lehi, Nov ember 26, 1884, a son of George and Sarah Russon Kirkham. He was married to Sarah A. Wrigley, Dec. 1, 1909. "Survivors besides his widow include: eight sons and daughters, Mrs. Karl G. Smith, Mrs. Maurice Johnson, Donald and Douglas Kirkham, Shelley; Stan W. Kirkham, Pocatello; Sherman D. Kirkham, Ogden; William G. Kirkham, Leadville, Colo., and Orla G. Kirkham, Paducah, KY. "There are eight brothers and sisters also surviving: William and Thomas F. Kirkham and Mrs. Eliza Crabb, Lehi; Raymond L. Kirkham, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Ruby Pack, Salt Lake City; Mrs. La Verne Fillerup and Alvin Kirkham, Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. Rachel Wanlass, Monroe, Utah. "Funeral services were held Monday at 1:00 p.m., in the Shelley Second Ward chapel, with interment in the Hillcrest cemetery. Among those attending was a brother, Thomas F. Kirkham of Lehi."
