EDGAR B. BOTKINS Edgar B. Botkins, 87, of 324 East Burkhart, Moberly, formerly of south of Duncan's Bridge, died at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 1974, in Woodland Hospital. He was a retired farmer. He was born in Madison and had lived most of his life in the Madison area. Before moving..... Duncan Bridge area 40 years. He was the son of Basil and Louisa Woodson Botkins. He was married to Mary Dean and she preceded him in death on April 24, 1974. He was a veteran of World War I, serving overseas more than 18 months. Surviving are two brothers, Arthur of Madison and O. M. of Moberly; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Cater Funeral Home in Moberly on Friday, June 28, 1974, at 3 p.m. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery on Madison, Mo. ~~~~~~~ The Botkins had originally planned to be buried at Union Grove Cemetery near Clarence and had grave markers placed there.
