Thanks to contributor #45121007; F. Louise Pickrel, 80, of Central City, formerly of Clarks, died Thursday, June 8, 2006 at Central City Care Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 12, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Wagner Funeral Home in Central City with Reverend Rich Savage officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 10:00 A.M. Monday. Burial will be in the Central City Cemetery. Louise was born on August 8, 1925 in Fullerton, Nebraska to Henry Wesley and Bertha Jane (Harrison) Pickrel. She grew up in the Fullerton-Clarks area and received her education in Clarks. Louise worked out of her home, cleaning houses in the area. She enjoyed playing cards, doing crafts, country music, and her family, especially her nieces and nephews. They were "her kids". Survivors include two sisters, Emma Stromberg of Polk, NE; and Phyllis Hilderbrand of David City, NE; one sister-in-law, Nina Pickrel of Clarks, NE; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant brother, three sisters, three brothers, seven brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.
