Bio
Alton Lee "Shorty" Hawkins was born in 1949 to Jack and Lavina Hawkins. Shorty worked as a mechanic at Wichita Tank. He loved to play dominos and shoot pool. Shorty's father Jack died in Wichita Falls, 1989. Brother Jimmy Hawkins died suddenly 2/11/2008. Other siblings that have gone before Shorty are James Allen Hawkins, Bobby Don Hawkins, Judy Lynn Hawkins, all in Texas and Dolly Hawkins Preston, in California. 2/14/2008 was Shorty's final day to experience the joy and sorrows of this world. He leaves to grieve his loss his mother, a sister and nine brothers. Shorty is greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. May he rest in peace.
