Jimmy Ray Hawkins, 57, of Wichita Falls, died Monday, February 11, 2008. The funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls with the Rev. Richard Rust, pastor of Faith Freewill Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. He was born Dec. 3, 1950, in Hubbard, Texas, to Jack and Lavina Hawkins. On March 25, 1976, he married Brenda Winkler, in Waurika, Okla. Jimmy was employed by Bailey Pump Service for thirty-three years. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Hawkins; sister, Judy Hawkins, brother, Bobby Hawkins; grandmother, Noatie Hawkins; sister, Dolly Preston; and brother, Sonny Pope. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hawkins of the home; son, Jimmy, Jr. and wife, Valerie of Wichita Falls; son, Kelly of Wichita Falls; mother, Lavina of Wichita Falls; granddaughter, Makenzie; grandsons, Keith, Jared, Chevy and Dakota; sister, Linda Whitmore and husband, James of Dean; brothers, Billy of Wichita Falls; Nolan and wife, Donna of Florence; Sammy of Wichita Falls; David and wife, Lona of Wichita Falls; Shorty of Wichita Falls; Joe and wife, Susie of Wichita Falls; Jackie of Wichita Falls; Michael and wife, Leisa of Jolly; Larry of Wichita Falls; and Rudy and wife, Jackie of Wichita Falls.
