Bio
Brenda K. Veal of Sweetwater went to be reunited with her Lord and her family in heaven on her birthday, March 29, 2015. Brenda was born March 29, 1950 to Clive and Clara Hale in Sweetwater. Brenda raised five children on a waitress pay. She worked for several local vendors in the Sweetwater area, Rosas' Cafe, Stars' Drive Inn, 76 Truck Stop, K-Bobs Steak House and Jack's Steak House, along with many others. Brenda has always been a kind person and would help anyone that needed it if she could. If it was meal time at her house, she made sure that there was always plenty to eat for everyone. Brenda had three sons and two daughters, Travis, Bobby, Allen, Lanette and Elizabeth. Brenda married James Veal on July 23, 1991 in Sweetwater. Brenda showed her children how to work for what you want, love unconditionally, and speak your mind. Brenda is survived by her four children, Bobby Cody and spouse Donna Kamer, Allen Cody and Lanette Peeples of Sweetwater, Elizabeth Hill and fiance Douglas Lindsey of Abilene. Brenda has 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She has two sisters, Vickie Creek and spouse Gary Tarpley and Sandra Hale, both of Abilene; and several nieces, nephews and cousins who she cared and loved very much. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Clive and Clara Hale; one brother, Roger Hale; one sister, Imma Jean Price; one son, Travis Wright; and her husband, James Veal.
