DOROTHY E. WORKMAN CORPUS CHRISTI - Dorothy Elnora Workman, 84, of Corpus Christi, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, of cancer. She was born April 22, 1917, in Austin, to the late Tom Pierce and Dora Burrie Young. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors: daughters, Johnnie Workman Kenyon of Victoria and Pauline Workman Priddy of Corpus Christi; sons, "Tommy" John Thomas Workman jr. of San Marcos and "Billy" William Lee Workman of Corpus Christi; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, John Thomas Workman; daughters, Betty Lou Workman Kocurek and "Sissy" Dora Maye Workman McManus Wolfe; son, "Baby" John Thomas Workman Jr.; and brothers, John Clifford Young and Price Pierce Young. Visitation was Thursday, Oct. 10, 2001 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside services were Friday, Oct. 11, 2001 at Rose Hill Memorial Park, the Rev. Gary Lowe officiated. Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Corpus Christi, 361-265-9221. Pallbearers: Tommy Workman, Billy Workman, Jeremiah Workman, Johnny Priddy, Kenneth Hunter and Roy McManus.
