Delmer L.Murrell Dec 5,1930-Sept 6,2006 Delmer Murrell, 75, formerly of Gering, died Sept. 6, 2006 at WEL-Life in Scottsbluff. A memorial service will be held Sept. 11, 2006 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. Interment will be held at East Lawn Cemetery in Minatare. Military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guard. He was born Dec. 5, 1930 to Walter Dewey and Adah Pearl(Short)Murrell in Higginsville, Mo. He entered the Marines in January of 1952, and was honorably discharged in January of 1955 after serving his country in the Korean War. He married Peggy Jane Roberts in October of 1955 in Minatare. They lived in North Platte and Sidney for several years before moving to Scottsbluff. He worked at Lockwood Corporation for many years as a machinist.His parents, wife Peggy, sister Rosie Ayres, and nephew Andy Pokorny preceded him in death. Scottsbluff Star Herald September 9, 2006
