Herald Coaster, December 19, 1997: Funeral services for Bernice Mary Talasek, 66, of Rosenberg, will be held on Sat., Dec. 20, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Father Eric Pitre will officiate the services. Friends may call after 4 p.m. on Fri., Dec. 19, at Angeles Funeral Home, 1223 Sixth St. in Rosenberg. A rosary will be recited on Fri., Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at Angeles Funeral Home. She was born on Aug. 5, 1931 in Schulenburg to Raymond and Cecelia Kossa. She passed away on Dec. 17, 1997 at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wilford Talasek; and parents, Raymond and Cecelia Kossa. She is survived by her daughters, Debra Dresner and her husband, Barry, Sandra Wheeler and her husband, Jerry, and Kathryn Wleczyk and her husband, Pat; a son, Bill Talasek and his wife, Judy; eight grandchildren, Jole Talasek, Jana Talasek, Elizabeth Dresner, Kyle Dresner, Keith Wleczk, Brett Wleczyk, Megan Wleczyk, and Tuck Wheeler. For those wishing, the family requests contributions can be made to the Volunteer Service Dept. at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
