Fort Bend Herald, November 18, 2009: A memorial service for David Wayne Meyen, 45, of Louise, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2009, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2009, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. David was born June 30, 1964 in Wharton to Otto Lee Meyen and Laverne Zwahr Meyen. He passed away November 17, 2009 in Louise. David is preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Laverne Meyen. He is survived by his wife, Amie Collins; children, Megan L. Meyen and Riley G. Meyen; step-children, Cheyenne Collins and Tyler Collins; brother, Christopher Lee Meyen and wife, Jennifer; nephew, Jace Meyen; grandmother, Mary Steffek Zwahr; along with many aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. For those wishing, donations may be made in memory of David to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 570127, Houston, Texas, 77257. Honorary pallbearers will include T. C. Zwahr, Glenn Zwahr, David Christensen, Leslie Pieper, D. J. Kucera, Mike Mach, Paul Blumrick, Paul Cerny, Jeff Schultze, and Sonny's Outlaws.
