Fort Bend Herald, March 26, 2009: Funeral services for Otto Lee Meyen, 73, of Needville, are 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Interment follows in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 27, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Otto was born Nov. 29, 1935, in Needville, to John Meyen and Ellie Boecker Meyen. He passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009, in Richmond. Otto was loved by his sons and grandchildren and will be missed by everyone he touched. He was preceded in death by his wife, LaVerne Jeanette Meyen; parents, John and Ellie Meyen; and sister, Christine Valka. Otto is survived by his sons, David Meyen, and Chris Meyen and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren: Megan Meyen, Jace Meyen and Riley Meyen; siblings: Alton Meyen, Dorothy Farmer, Frank Meyen and Aline Lichnovsky; and other relatives and many friends.
