Bio

William Henry Horace Reed married Ophelia Opal Baker on April 7, 1892 in Lawrence Co., Alabama. They divorced about 1922 and Opal remarried in 1923. There is no record that William ever remarried and he died in 1929. William was the son of John T. Reed & Nancy A. Mansell. His mother died in 1886 in Franklin Co., Alabama. In 1887, William's father remarried to a widow, Mrs. Cordelia J. (Gray) Clayton, and then moved to Prentiss Co., Mississippi along with several of his adult sons. --- Courtesy of CHB
